    Up for auction is a 1936 HARLEY model VD 74twin with the rare 4-speed transmission (used in ’36 only), including lots of NOS and new motor, transmission, chassis and accessory parts.  Motor, carburetor, generator and transmission are rebuilt from NOS and new parts.  SEE PHOTOS.  Title is in my name. I acquired this bike back in 1981 from a scrap yard in East St. Louis, IL.  It had sat there for years.  It was about 60% complete.  Over the next 15 years or so, I collected NOS parts and accessories to rebuild and restore the bike.  This is a project bike that I know I’m not going to get to.  I’m just too busy.  A major problem with all VL’s is wear in the wheel hubs and splines of the connecting brake drums.  When worn, the wheels wiggle…no fun when riding at speed.  This bike has NOS wheel hubs and brake drums with splines.  Also the drum internals are NOS with new bearings and felt seals included.  SEE PHOTOS The motor is completely rebuilt with NOS and quality new parts.  NOS connecting rod set, rear cyl.

      Up for auction is a 1940 Harley Davidson ULH Flathead.  Engine number ULH 3207.  Do not see any frame numbers.  This bike came out of an estate, so I am not sure of any modifications.  Bike should be Cleaned up and sorted out and would make a very Cool Vintage Custom Rider.  I know the bike was running when parked but sure it needs to be sorted out a little.  Seems to have good compression.  Looks like mikuni carburetor was last thing put on it, not sure if ran since.  Paint looks good.  Chrome is nice but has some bad spots.  Showing 3300 miles, maybe since build.  Shifts good.  Front disc brake looks to be incomplete.  Has a later frame with swing arm.  Seat doesn’t look right on the bike to me.  Looks to have had a lot of money spent building it.  I am not familiar with Harleys so didn’t try and get running and please ask questions.  Sold as is.  Payment must be made in 7 days unless otherwise agreed upon.  Deposit of $500 is due within 24hours.  Can work with you on shipping but is buyers responsibility.  Can help arrange Shipping to England, email for a info.

    Selling my 1952 first year Factory Harley KR Flat Tracker, Completely restored , I am the second owner of this Bike, It belonged to the late Sam Satterly National # 72 from Arkansas, Sam was a pretty famous racer in the 50's & 60"s He was known as the Arkansas traveler as well as Sliding Sam Satterly , I allso raced with him in the 60's  He passed away a couple of years ago, I got the bike all apart & put it all back together, Bike Has original KR Frame & Hard Tail, Kr front wheel, KR rear quick change wheel Original KR Gas tank, fuel bung on the left, Very rare, 1952 was the first year for a KR & not to many were produced because they still had WR's . Sam was a Machinist & the frame is drilled full of holes, some special work inside the motor as well as he cut the front of the cam case off, like Bart Markel & ran his own Distributor that he made with a tach drive on top, & fan a direct loss battery ignition as a magneto cost horsepower , He also ran a Giant SU carb, I have replaced them with the correct Linkert MR-4 carb & a vertical Fairbanks Morse magneto, I also have pictures of Sam Racing it with the late Gary Nixon, Jack Gholson, Dick Klamfoth, & Markel I raced KR's in the 60's & have several Please call or e-mail  Dennis Schoenfeldt 970-317-1096 Last two pictures are of the Distributor, SU Carb & a few other items from Sam's stuff, I also have some magazine articles & Pictures

    1952 was the last year for the 61ci.  Making this a collector bike, only 918 of them were made in 1952!  This also was a high compression configuration.  This was originally a Police bike.  The solo seat is an aftermarket, but I also have an original 52 buddy seat with helper springs in good condition.  The bike has a morris magneto (value around $1100.00)  I also have an original distributor.  Has coker tires.  Its a 1-2 kick bike.  Fenders and tanks are original.  The spedo and tail light are repop.  Has new Harley origianl 6 volt battery.  The bike runs and rides great!     Please read the entire description carefully: 1952 Harley Davidson FL "Panhead".  Older restoration, work mostly done from mid 70s to mid 80s, tanks repainted professionally this past summer.  Original wishbone frame in pristine unaltered condition. Original wide glide front end is the adjustable rake version often used with sidecars.  I was told this bike had a sidecar attached at one time.  Sheet metal is original, not repro.  Engine has o-ring manifold seals and has approx 7,000 miles since overhaul by the owner previous to me.  Electrics are original 6v with 3 brush generator and cutout.  Not an AMCA judging points bike but a very nice rider.  To my knowledge the main non correct items include flexible fuel line with inline filter, current carb (see below), chromed oil tank (done by previous owner), many of the fasteners are hardware store, not CP type.  I believe the reproduction parts are the bags, windshield, possibly the seat and exhaust.  It runs a 1.5" Primo Rivera belt drive inside the tin primary.  I have a folder full of receipts from the previous owner's restoration work dating from the mid 1970s to last year when I bought it.  Currently has S&S Super E Shorty carb installed but the original Linkert and 7" J-slot air cleaner are included in the sale.  Bike runs very well, I have ridden it about 1,000 miles since I bought it 1 year ago.  I wouldn't be selling it but I recently had the chance to buy some other things that I have been wanting for a long time so the panhead must go.  Clear current Washington title and registration in my name.     1954 Harley Davidson Panhead, with matching transmission, etc in a straight leg aftermarket frame, springer front end, king/queen seat and upswept pipes, sissy bar.  Also has mousetrap clutch lever.  Has front wheel to make it a roller but will need correct wheel and brake, if desired.  Purchased off ebay but no time to complete.  Heads are prefect except mod for different intake, no broken or cracked fins.  Has clear Florida Title as 1954 Harley Davidson.  All numbers match including the bottom of cases and the right side has the VIN number also. Also included a picture of title.  The perfect winter project for bike week 2014.   Thanks for looking.     I am listing this motorcycle for a friend.  This Harley is not for the faint of heart.   It is 105 inches long and 78 inches from axle to axle.  The front end does NOT flop over like the old style choppers.  It was assembled from a 1959 right case and a 1970 left case with 1340 flywheels, 86 inches, shovel oil pump, Mallory distributor, Cycle Electric generator, 1970's Jammer frame, one-off handle bars, adjustaglide front trees, suicide clutch with ratchet top, polished boxes and PM brakes.  It is a VERY healthy motor and is a total rebuild assembled in 2004.   Lots of one-off goodies as noted in the photos.  It is a bar hopper, has been ridden about 7000 miles since assembly. It bears a few scars from this riding.  Small drip in oil tank, not bad for pan and shovel parts.  It has a bonded AR title and has been inspected by state police.  Funds must clear prior to bike leaving my premises.  If you have questions call Paul at 501-690-5442.  This bike is listed locally and I reserve the right to end the auction should it trade here.  Good luck.
